DYKO GLASS acquired its name after being merged with Dynamidon which was part of the Koppers company that was founded by Heinrich Koppers, a close collaborator of Dr. Carlos Otto (Bochum). Today, DYKO GLASS is recognized world-wide by its reputation as a specialist in the lining of glass melting plants.
The know-how collected over decades is the basis for a broad range of refractory products for regenerative, recuperative, continuously and discontinuously operated melting aggregates with systems of conventional air fuel or oxygen fuel heating. Also fully electrically heated glass melting plants and plants with combined system, in side-heated and U-flame tanks and unit melter types (Heye melter) including forehearths and feeders are all equipped with our company’s products.
Our products are used in all glass industries. The range of products on offer for applications in the glass industries includes aluminosilicate and fireclay rich products, zirconium mullite, zirconium silicate, chromium oxide and chromium corundum. Isostatically pressed product variations and tin bath bottom blocks top up our product portfolio.
