The composition of this glass type is subject to small variations according to the manufacturing process and area of application. Furthermore products like industrial glass and daily use glass are also part of this glass category. The method of operation of these melting plants (end-heated, site heated or recuperative) and the concepts used for integration of refractory materials are often identical.
