Spinel bricks contain more than 20 % and less than 40 % MgO depending on their classification. The products that are fired at very high temperatures have a mineral content primarily of spinel (MgO∙Al2O3). Carefully selected, pure synthetic spinels serve as raw material for these bricks.
Typical areas of application for these products are the glass industry and the non-ferrous metal industry.
